Acceptance
This End User License Agreement (“EULA”) is a legal agreement between you and Halo Softworks LLC for Aura Terran, Aura Wire, and Halo Suite bundles (the “Software”).
By downloading, installing, activating, or using the Software, you agree to this EULA. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Software.
Purchases are also governed by our Terms of Sale and Refund Policy. Website data practices are described in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
License grant
Subject to this EULA and your tier, Halo Softworks LLC grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable (except as allowed for seats you purchased), revocable license to install and use the Software on devices you control.
- Free / evaluation — personal, non-commercial use within product limits; trials as described in product documentation
- Personal — individual, non-commercial use
- Professional (Pro) — commercial solo / professional use as described for that product
- Teams — use by the number of seats purchased, within your organization
- Suite — separate keys for included products under the same tier rules
Paid licenses are one-time licenses for the current major version (for example, 1.x) unless a product page states otherwise. Updates within that major version are included. Future major versions may require a separate paid upgrade.
Activation and seats
- Paid and trial features may require online activation. Device identifiers and license metadata may be sent to Halo Softworks LLC to enforce seats and troubleshoot activation.
- You may not share, resell, lease, or sublicense license keys beyond your purchased seat count.
- You may not circumvent activation, seat limits, trials, feature gates, or other technical restrictions.
Restrictions
Except as expressly allowed by your tier or applicable law, you may not:
- Use Free or Personal editions for commercial purposes
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software except where mandatory law permits
- Remove proprietary notices
- Use the Software to violate law or third-party rights
- Provide the Software as a hosted service to third parties without a separate written agreement
Local-first software and your data
The Software is designed to run on your machines. Your documents, prompts, and project files are processed locally according to your configuration. Halo Softworks LLC does not operate a cloud corpus for your Aura Terran or Aura Wire content through this website license relationship.
If you configure the Software to call third-party AI or cloud providers, those transfers are under your control and those providers’ terms.
Ownership
The Software and all related intellectual property remain owned by Halo Softworks LLC and its licensors. This EULA does not sell the Software; it licenses use only.
Support and updates
Support and update entitlements depend on your edition and the product documentation. Halo Softworks LLC may change free or beta offerings, including discontinuing them.
Disclaimer
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. Halo Softworks LLC DISCLAIMS WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Halo Softworks LLC’S TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING FROM THE SOFTWARE OR THIS EULA IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE LICENSE GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM (OR, FOR FREE SOFTWARE, ZERO). We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages.
Termination
This license ends if you breach this EULA. On termination you must stop using the Software and destroy copies in your possession, except copies retained solely as required by law. Sections that by nature should survive (ownership, disclaimer, liability) survive termination.
Refunds, when issued, revoke associated license keys as described in the Refund Policy.
Changes
We may update this EULA. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the current version. Continued use after posting may constitute acceptance for free downloads; material changes for paid licenses apply as stated in the Terms of Sale for new purchases.
Version
This agreement is version 2026-08-26. Paid, manual, complimentary, and trial licenses record

Installer and in-app copies
Desktop installers display this agreement (or an equivalent plain-text copy) and require acceptance before installation completes. In-app Help or About screens link back to this page.
